On December 17, 2024, the Court granted Final Approval for the National Park Water Settlement class action lawsuit. This includes the establishment of a Biomonitoring Program. The Biomonitoring Program is currently planned to take place on eight (8) separate days (“Drawing Events”) over the course of a 2-month period at the Best Western West Deptford, 98 Friars Blvd, West Deptford, NJ 08086. On the date of each Drawing Event, Biomonitoring Class Members who provide consent (“Participants”) will be able to obtain a single blood draw to test for PFAS chemicals.

3. Do I need to make an appointment?

No, an appointment will not be necessary to get blood testing.

4. What do I need to bring with me?

You need to bring a photo ID and/or proof of residence that you reside in National Park, New Jersey.

5. What are they testing for?

Blood testing for per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (“PFAS”), including but not limited to perfluorononanoic acid (“PFNA”) and perfluorooctanoic acid (“PFOA”).

6. Who is performing the blood test?

All blood draws will be performed by AcuLabs, Inc. and analyzed by NMS Labs. The blood draw will be performed by a certified phlebotomist associated with AcuLabs. The blood test results will only be provided to the individual Biomonitoring Class Member who requested the test, including minors with their parent’s or legal guardian’s consent.

7. Who can get blood testing?

All Individuals who resided in National Park, New Jersey for any period of time from January 1, 2019, through February 28, 2024, are included in the Biomonitoring Class. For minor Participants, consent must be received from the minor’s parent or legal guardian before blood is drawn. Only individual Biomonitoring Class Members who appear on one of the above dates and times will be able to receive a blood test. No additional dates or times will be added for additional testing.

8. How will I get my results?

Participants will receive access to the results of their blood tests via a secure online portal. Information on how to access this secure online portal will be provided at the time you receive your blood test.
